The UNCTAD Trade, Gender and Development Programme offers online courses on trade and gender to a broad range of stakeholders from member countries.
Through this e-learning programme, UNCTAD equips participants with the knowledge to analyse the two-way relationship between trade and gender, and to formulate gender-equitable policies. Participants learn about the trade and gender nexus using UNCTAD’s teaching manual along with multimedia lectures, supplementary readings and practical exercises under the guidance of both a tutor and a technical assistant.
Courses provide opportunities for participants to further enhance their knowledge and to build their professional networks through interactions via an online discussion platform.
The portfolio of teaching resources includes teaching modules focused on specific regions, or on selected topics of relevance for the analysis of the trade and gender nexus.
