Mapeamento e estratégia das indústrias culturais e criativas de Angola

Este seminário faz parte do Programa Conjunto UE-CNUCED para Angola: Train for Trade II para "Aumentar o potencial económico das indústrias culturais e criativas em Angola para o emprego, comércio e ganhos de desenvolvimento". Este workshop é organizado com o apoio financeiro da União Europeia e faz parte de um conjunto de actividades desenvolvidas para a Componente de Economia Criativa.
Como parte da Componente de Economia Criativa, a CNUCED fornece actividades de formação de alta qualidade apoiadas por materiais de formação feitos à medida, bem como apoio ao desenvolvimento de políticas. O objectivo da componente é promover indústrias culturais e criativas vibrantes em Angola, facilitar a melhoria das actividades económicas e das redes nos centros artísticos e culturais, proporcionar maiores oportunidades para empresários e criadores, particularmente jovens, e construir sobre as comunidades ricas e diversas que tornam Angola única.
Como o projecto está perto do seu fim, os dois principais objectivos do workshop nacional são
- Apresentar e validar o relatório final sobre "Mapeamento das indústrias culturais e criativas em Angola"; e
- Discutir e acordar um plano para a formulação de uma Estratégia de Economia Criativa para Angola.
Espera-se que os participantes no workshop incluam funcionários do Governo de Angola, incluindo governos nacionais, provinciais e municipais, e representantes de instituições privadas nos sectores cultural, criativo e turístico, incluindo empresários culturais e criativos, artistas, profissionais, gestores, distribuidores, etc.
Objectives
Os dois principais objectivos do workshop nacional são
- Apresentar e validar o relatório final sobre "Mapeamento das indústrias culturais e criativas em Angola"; e
- Discutir e acordar um plano para a formulação de uma Estratégia de Economia Criativa para Angola.
Market Access and NTMs for farmers/အကောက်ခွန်မဲ့အစီအမံများဆိုင်ရာ တောင်သူသင်တန်း

This course is dedicated to Burmese farmers, especially those involving in the production and trade of tea products.
Mauritius 2004

It will be held with the support of the University of Mauritius. The course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development, including in the context of international trade negotiations.
Its aim is to:
• Enhance the understanding of the relationship among these areas and their link to countries’ development strategies; and
• Provide participants with knowledge and skills for the design and implementation of trade and development policies, as well as for trade negotiations corresponding to the needs and interests of their countries.
The syllabus of the course will draw upon UNCTAD’s perspective, its analytical work and the lessons learnt from its technical cooperation activities, and will be enriched by the competence and expertise of the Economic Commission for Africa, as well as regional and national experts, in these areas of work. The course is mainly aimed at mid-level government officers in ministries and institutions dealing with trade, investment, finance and development issues, who are involved in the formulation and implementation of national trade and development policies. Academics from research institutions and universities working on international economic issues are also encouraged to apply.

The UNCTAD secretariat is pleased to announce that the next regional course on key issues on the international economic agenda, which is designed for economies in Africa, will be hosted by the University of Mauritius. The course will be held in 2013.
The course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development. Its aims are as follows:
- To enhance understanding of the relationship between trade, investment, finance and development and their links to country development strategies and building resilience;
- To enhance understanding of current economic debates, the Sustainable Development Goals and the implications for policymakers in developing countries;
- To provide participants with knowledge and skills that will prepare them for negotiations, as well as to design and implement trade and development policies. These tools are designed to meet the needs and interests of their countries.
The syllabus will draw on the perspective of UNCTAD, analytical work and lessons learned from technical cooperation activities, and will be enriched by the competence and expertise of representatives of the Economic and Social Commission for Africa. Experts from Mauritius will share national experiences in promoting and managing trade, investment, finance and development and policies.
