Seminário On-Line: Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento da Apicultura em Angola
O seminário on-line de formação “Cooperação para o Desenvolvimento da Apicultura em Angola” contribuiu à discussão sobre técnicas de produção que garantam um mel de qualidade, o cumprimento de normas de certificação e o acesso a mercados externos. Buscou igualmente fomentar a cooperação internacional e a troca de experiências entre apicultores e especialistas de países em desenvolvimento.
A CNUCED organizou esta atividade no âmbito da Revisão Nacional das Exportações Verdes (RNEV) de Angola, um dos sete componentes do Programa Conjunto UE-CNUCED para Angola: Train for Trade II, financiado pela União Europeia. A RNEV visa capacitar representantes do governo, sector privado e academia no exame de questões relevantes ao desenvolvimento de sectores verdes e suas cadeias de valor, com atenção especial às oportunidades de exportação para parceiros comerciais na África Austral e no resto do mundo.
O seminário on-line aprofundarou discussões iniciadas no segundo workshop, de formação da RNEV de Angola, voltado aos sectores do mel e da madeira e ocorrido em junho de 2019, em Luena, no Moxico. O evento contou com a participação de oradores brasileiros, de instituições de pesquisa e do sector privado, que compartilharam suas experiências no desenvolvimento e fortalecimento da apicultura.
Resultados Alcançados
Cinquenta representantes do setor privado, governo e academia de Angola participaram no seminário on-line, onde especialistas nacionais forneceram um diagnóstico do setor de mel angolano e quatro especialistas brasileiros compartilharam suas experiências no melhoramento da produção com vista à certificação e à exportação. Apesar dos desafios relacionados à pandemia do COVID-19, o seminário de capacitação alcançou oito províncias remotas. Produtores, professores universitários e representantes do governo do Bengo, Cabinda, Cuanza Sul, Huambo, Huíla, Luanda, Moxico e Uíge participaram ativamente do treinamento. A colmatação da lacuna digital continuará com a extensão do treinamento a províncias adicionais, bem como com o acompanhamento de beneficiários.

Methodology
O seminário on-line se dará remotamente, no formato de reunião virtual realizada através de uma plataforma de compartilhamento de voz,
vídeo, apresentações e arquivos via internet. Será administrado pela equipa da RNEV de Angola, a partir da sede da Conferência das Nações
Unidas sobre Comércio e Desenvolvimento (CNUCED), em Genebra, na Suíça.
O seminário abordará as principais restrições enfrentadas pelos produtores de mel angolanos em seus esforços para obter a certificação e
fornecerá evidências práticas da experiência de apicultores do Brasil. A discussão será estruturada a partir de um diagnóstico da situação
prevalente em Angola, seguido de apresentações de prelectores e de discussões interativas. O item 10 desta nota conceptual fornece
maiores detalhes quanto ao programa.
Os materiais do seminário on-line serão disponibilizados no Centro de Conhecimento On-Line (Online Knowledge Hub) do programa Train for
Trade II após o evento.

Target Audience
O público alvo do seminário on-line consiste de apicultores e representantes de instituições públicas, privadas e académicas que trabalhem
com questões diretamente ligadas à apicultura em Angola. Com o intuito de aprofundar a capacitação iniciada no Segundo Workshop de Formação da RNEV, sugere-se que sejam também convidados
os participantes deste evento ligados ao sector do mel.
Senegal 2007

It will be held with the support of the Ministry of Trade, Consumer Affairs and Handicrafts. The course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development, including in the context of international trade negotiations.
Its aim is to:
• Enhance the understanding of the relationship among these areas and their link to countries’ development strategies; and
• Provide participants with knowledge and skills for the design and implementation of trade and development policies, as well as for trade negotiations corresponding to the needs and interests of their countries.
The syllabus of the course will draw upon UNCTAD’s perspective, its analytical work and the lessons learnt from its technical cooperation activities, and will be enriched by the competence and expertise of the Economic Commission for Africa, as well as regional and national experts, in these areas of work. The course is mainly aimed at mid-level government officers in ministries and institutions dealing with trade, investment, finance and development issues, who are involved in the formulation and implementation of national trade and development policies. Academics from research institutions and universities working on international economic issues are also encouraged to apply.
Serbia 2006

The UNCTAD secretariat is now organizing a second regional training course for Eastern Europe and CIS countries on Key Issues on the International Economic Agenda, which will be held in collaboration with the Ministry of International Economic Relations in Belgrade, Serbia and Montenegro. The course will focus on the links between trade, investment and development, especially in the context of the current multilateral trade negotiations, in order to
•Enhance the capacity of officials and other individuals from Eastern Europe and CIS countries to identify issues, and the approaches adopted in their treatment, in the current trade negotiations, in particular those with development dimensions within UNCTAD’s field of competence;
•Increase awareness of the various policy and other conditions necessary for attaining competitiveness and participating effectively in the current global economic environment;
The syllabus of the course draws on UNCTAD's perspectives and expertise and aims to enhance an understanding of UNCTAD's analytical work, as well as the lessons drawn from UNCTAD's technical cooperation activities. The content and the approaches of the course will also draw on the competence and expertise of United Nations Economic Commission for Europe and other regional experts.
Serbia 2012

The UNCTAD secretariat is pleased to announce that the next regional course on Key Issues on the International Economic Agenda for countries with economies in transition will be hosted by the University of Belgrade, with the support of the Ministry of Foreign and Internal Trade and Telecommunications, Serbia, and will take place from 9 to 27 July 2012. The course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development, including in the context of international trade negotiations. Its aims are as follows:
•To enhance understanding of the relationship between these areas and their link to country development strategies;
•To provide participants with knowledge and skills that will prepare them for trade negotiations, as well as to design and implement trade and development policies. These tools are designed to meet the needs and interests of their countries.
The syllabus will draw on the perspective of UNCTAD, its analytical work and lessons learned from its technical cooperation activities and will be enriched by the competence and expertise of representatives of the United Nations Economic Commission for Europe. Experts from North Macedonia will share national experiences in promoting and managing trade, investment, finance and development, among other topics.

The UNCTAD secretariat is pleased to announce that the next regional course for countries with economies in transition on key issues on the international economic agenda will be hosted by the University of Belgrade with the support of the Serbian Ministry of Trade, Tourism and Telecommunications. The course will be held from 16 May to 3 June 2016. The course will focus on the links between trade, investment, finance and development, including in the context of international trade negotiations. Its aims are as follows:
•To enhance understanding of the relationship between these areas and their link to country development strategies;
•To provide participants with knowledge and skills that will prepare them for the art of trade negotiation, as well as for the design and implementation of trade and development policies. These tools are designed to meet the needs and interests of their countries;
The course syllabus will draw on the perspective of UNCTAD, its analytical work and lessons learned from its technical cooperation activities and will be enriched by the competence and expertise of representatives of the Economic Commission for Europe. Serbia experts will also share the country’s experience in promoting and managing trade, investment, finance and development.
