Accelerating Green Industrialisation in Asia: Challenges and Policy Solutions

This course builds on the findings of over 25 in-depth studies and eight national consultations on pathways to green industrialisation in Kazakhstan, Malaysia, Pakistan and Turkiye. The studies and consultations were completed as part of a major UNCTAD project on green industrialisation that ran from 2022 to 2025. 

The course introduces participants to key concepts and policy considerations related to green industrialisation, and then looks more closely at specific sectors and countries, and opportunities for regional coordination to support national efforts.

The course is  is aimed policymakers in  Asian countries who would benefit from acquiring a deeper understanding of green industrialization challenges, and policies to address them.
