Science, technology and innovation parks: Policies and practices e-learning course, autumn session 2026

The objective of this course is to build capacity among policymakers, practitioners and other stakeholders in designing and implement successful STI park policies and practices. After the successful pilot session of the UNCTAD e-learning course on Science, Technology and Innovation (STI) Park Policy and Practice from 9 to 22 February, this course was formally rolled out from 16–29 March 2026, to be followed by this autumn session.

Targeted participants

Mid-level or above STI policy makers, STI-focused academicians, senior scientists from R&D institutions, technologists, innovators, STI park (including incubator and accelerator) managers and operators, technology industrialists, associations of entrepreneurs or industries, real estate developers.

Cost participation

Only selected participants will be invited to take this course. Selected participants will receive instructions on how to enroll in the e-learning course between 26-28 August 2026. Kindly note that no email inquiries are necessary before this period.

Role-playing exercises may be offered to participants who have successfully completed the e-learning course. These will be conducted through standalone webinars in three areas: STI park policymakingSTI park management, and technology transfer. Separate training certificates will be issued for each of these webinars.
